finance director resigns

While Chiefland's search for a new city attorney appears to have
picked up steam with two lawyers submitting bids for the job, the
ranks of City Hall officials were further depleted last week when
Planning and Finance Director Danielle Judd abruptly resigned.

in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks will begin rocking
Levy County soon, according to a warning issued by Levy County Board
of County Commissioners Chairman Sammy Yearty at the board's Oct.
2 meeting.

Regional Planning Council Contract Extended
The

city of Williston contracted the Withlacoochee Regional Planning
Council to pre-pare a redevelopment plan and to assist the Williston
Community Redevelopment Agency through July 2001. The contract has
been extended.
