While Chiefland's search for a new city attorney appears to have picked up steam with two lawyers submitting bids for the job, the ranks of City Hall officials were further depleted last week when Planning and Finance Director Danielle Judd abruptly resigned.

The economic effects that have rippled through the United States in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks will begin rocking Levy County soon, according to a warning issued by Levy County Board of County Commissioners Chairman Sammy Yearty at the board's Oct. 2 meeting.

 

Withlacoochee Regional Planning Council Contract Extended
